AMENDING THE COMPOSITION OF GOVERNOR'S LAW ENFORCEMENT ACCREDITATION COMMISSION AND GOVERNOR'S LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING COMMISSION

WHEREAS, the Governor's Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (established pursuant to Executive Order 01-07) and the Governor's Law Enforcement Training Commission (established pursuant to Executive Order 01-08) would benefit from the participation of the Department of the Attorney General in accomplishing the purposes for which each commission was established.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Lincoln Almond, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Governor of the State of Rhode Island, hereby order as follows:

1. In addition to the members identified in Executive Order 01-07, the Attorney General, or designee, shall serve as a member of the Governor's Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission.

2. In addition to the members identified in Executive Order 01-08, the Attorney General, or designee, shall serve as a member of the Governor's Law Enforcement Training Commission.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately on the date hereof.
