IN AMENDMENT OF EXECUTIVE ORDER N0. 30, DATED JULY 17, 1978

WHEREAS, it has been requested by the Rhode Island Army and Air National Guard to amend Executive Order 30 dated July 17, 1978 in order to comply with the Rhode Island General Laws;

NOW THEREFORE, I, LINCOLN C. ALMOND, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Governor of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, do hereby order as follows:

1. Executive Order No. 30 dated July 17, 1978 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

2. Commissioned Officers, Warrant Officers and Enlisted persons of the Rhode Island Army and Air National Guard, shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of Sections 30-6-1, 30-6-2 and 30-5-3 of the General Laws of Rhode Island.

3. Each person when detailed for duty on firing squads for funerals for deceased veterans authorized by Sections 30-25-1 and 30-25-2 of the General Laws of Rhode Island, or at ceremonies or for duty as color guards shall be paid twenty-five ($25.00) dollars.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon the date hereof.
