CONTINUATION OF RHODE ISLAND SELECT COMMISSION ON RACE AND POLICE-COMMUNITY RELATIONS


WHEREAS, the charge of the Select Commission on Race and Police-Community Relations expired June 2002; and

WHEREAS, funding exists for the Select Commission to continue its mission through the end of the 2002 fiscal year and the Commission wishes to do so.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LINCOLN ALMOND, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Governor of the State of Rhode Island &.nd Providence Plantations, hereby order as follows:

1. The charge of the Select Commission is extended to June 30, 2003.
